Problem with party not following, chapter 3 (Can be spoiler)

Post by Skylar »

Again i have the problem with my party not following. I have had a bug at Crossroad Keep all the time. In chapter II i solved it by going back to the inn at the docks in Neverwinter each time.
But now i have started chapter III and have no longer acces to the docks! Is there any place else, i can assemble my party?

I have tried the "follow me" by leftclicking on the character and the AI is on.
The only one following me, is the newest NPC at this time.

I hope someone can help me out here. If not, i guess i am finished playing the game until a patch fixes it :-(

I've had this problem and for me this simple thing worked.

Right click your character, go to broadcast command and try one of those. They alway got my party back on the move.

Are you checking the AI of all of your characters? Since some follow and some don't, it sounds like some are in puppet mode. If you're not overly familiar with the interface, I'd just try hitting the AI button twice -- once to turn it off for all and then once to turn it on for all.

The broadcast commands can also be the culprit, but if you've been issuing the "follow me" command and it hasn't been working, then I'd guess the AI is the problem.

Thanks for your answers.
I have turned the AI on and off several times with no result.
I could switch my following NPC out with one of the others, but not get two to follow me.

I am not sure about how accessing the Broadcast command? Where do i do that? (I hit "V" on my keyboard to get a menu on my screen and i don´t know if this is it?) It does not work anyhow.

The problem seems to be a bug in Crossroad Keep, but the problem follows me no matter what part of the world i go to

Yes, I believe V was the shortkey. They're commands like follow me, guard me, attack nearest, etc iirc. Sorry it doesn't work for you =/
