Alchemy + Pickpocketing

Post by Tamok »

I just got the Oblivion yesterday and I picked up a bunch of Alchemy ingredients but I don't know how to create potions and poisons. I read the game manual but that didn't help me.

I also was wondering about pickpocketing every time I try to pickpocket someone I fail, even If I am being stealthy and no one sees me.

Help?

You want Darliandor's Lab. It's a great resource to find out what the alchemy ingredients are, and what effects they have when combined.

well you need a morter and petile to make potions, plus the ingredints have to have 1 thing match. with pickpocketing, u need to get sneak and secruity skill up, and it would help if u hid in a dark place where to pickpocket, like in stores in imperial city, u can lure the store owner to the stairs, do sneak mode into a dark place on the stairs, and u might be lucky.

This has probably got to do with your skill level. With a higher skill level, i.e, with more practice, you should be able to pickpocket anyone. Mind you, some people have a higher sneak skill than others and might still be able to spot you. Plus, the heavier the item is, or the more the quantity, the higher the chance of being caught.
