Players looking for players

Post by Rob-hin »

If you are looking for people to play d&d with, post here or look through other posts.

Simply post your name, where you live and what kind of people you are looking for.
Simple? Yes sir!

To kick things off, I'll link some old Looking for group threads here.

Ontario, California, usa

My friend and i are looking for people to play dungeons and dragons with. we prefer the hack n slash method of play :D and would really like to play again. neither of us are beginners, we've been playing on and off for over 10 years now. we might need refreshing on the rules but after a few minutes well be good :) . we are both serious players but we also like to joke around every now and then.

Looking for players.

I am on the island of Oahu. Looking for players, and possibly another DM. I can host, I am a ok DM, but would like someone who could DM also, that way I get a break every now and then. I am highly familiar with 2nd editon rules, and have most of the 2nd edition books. If you would rather play 3rd ed. I will need help, since I haven't ever used it before.

Need to find an online group or a group nearby..

Nashville, TN.
My AIM is LordMasterDan if you need to contact me. I would like to kick up a game but I am not particularly skilled. I can't DM very well, but I am willing to play any class needed and download any such thing to start an online group.

To those interested in starting up a new game we're looking for three people to play a very laid back game and just have some fun. We'll be playing at red road and miami gardens in north dade, I'll be a player in the game and my friend will be the DM. There will be gaming music and cool ambience to enhance the mood of the game. It is preferred you bring your own refreshments and food but there will be some on hand. We want to play to have a good time and share the experience of DnD and do a huge blowout til the release of 4th edition.

The game will be run by Tom and he has been running games for 17 years so he's very experienced and has written the story we'll be playing.

Background: A lost Roman like civilization rising from ashes in a land filled with barbaric despots and monsters forged of horrible ancient magics. This will mostly be a Horror/Fantasy game.

Please no rule lawyers, power gamers or any other sort of disruptive behavior. Games will be held Saturday from 6pm till whenever. Using 3.5 dnd rules will change to 4 ed in time but not right away.

if interested please email me at brandon.m.gregg@gmail.com

Forming a new OD&D group

I am ordering OD&D tonight just found the white box set with all 3 manuals. I wanted to form a group for it. I live in Phoenix, Az, and are of 13 years almost 14 years of age. The Group ages will range from 13-16 im thinking will be the only ages what will get along. This group does not require that you own OD&D i will supply you with what you need. (If you brought your own dice that would be nice :) ) So if you would like to join the group i am forming post here please. I am thinking we will meet on saterdays like 1-5pm. But it all depends on you guys. Oh and i you don't know what OD&D is it stands for Original Dungeons & Dragons, it is from the 1970's from the original creators. It is a much differnt game than the WOTC version it has become today.

San Antonio

New to this forum, but not to D&D. ;)

I've played D&D on and off since the Chainmail days, when the Basic set was the coolest thing a nine-year-old boy could get for Christmas. I've run my own games, but I can definitively say that I'm no backseat DM when I'm a player.

My girlfriend and I are looking for a game in the San Antonio area. We prefer games with role-playing opportunities and an overall 'positive' feel. In other words, the players are the good guys. One thing I can't stand is playing in a game with that one 'secretly evil' PC who's just waiting for a chance to stab everyone in the back and take all the goodies.

Games in which skills are as important as attack bonuses and fireballs are what we are looking for. So if that's what you've got, let us know.
Live. Love. Game.
