Reputation Points

Post by The Gray Mouser »

I am in a world of hurt. For some reason after I finished the Slaver Compound I kept having a tavern patron come up in red as an enemy. I avoided him for awhile, but one of my guys instintively fired on him and killed him. My reputation went down, and I made about 5 more enemies from the bar. My party started shooting before I could stop them, and now my reputation is about 9. And I cannot go into the slums without being attacked by innocents. What can I do to break this vicious cycle? Help!!!

You got 2 options because i got the same problem OR you turn the AI off and your characters won't hurt them any more OR you just load a game

Go to a temple and pay to get your reputation back up to a suitable level. Turn of AI so your npcs dont attack.

OR

Reload a save game before this happened

The reason the patron is red is mostly likely they were hit by some area effect spell during the slaver battle. You can go back and be a bit more careful....or you can kill them all Image Problem is Jolev and Bernard have good items for sale Image

If I turn the AL off will the NPC's still have dialougue? Also, my main char. is a mage, so won't the slums be my stronghold?

Yes, there will still be dialog. The planar sphere will be your stronghold.

I found it useful to buy the first 4 or 5 before doing the quests that give you rep points...then do them and you are 20 in no time!

rep points are the easiest part of the game if you lead a good party, I was at 20 and getting more, but 20's max.. =(
It gets tricky i fyou have an evil member becaus ethen you need to even it out, and you need to loose a couple of points sometimes or they'll leave. You get a ****load of points in Trademeet I think.... so just wait.

But you can go evil all the way through Trademeet quest by poisoning the Grove; this will cause you to lose a point. So choose wisely (I think)...

Well I 've been in the some boat my party was doing rather well with the rep points as I would have thought until one day I looked at them and they where at 6 and I play A good party. I think I lost them when I came out of the underdark with the fight to get the silver hilt. There was a few dead people around but I thought no big deal I did not kill them the other bad guys did. So I went on my mary way. I should have figured this out when edwin was happy being in my group duh. Anyways went to the temple and spent the gold to get up to about 9 or something keep everyone happy.

I killed Valygar in Umar Hills. Now what should I do? Go back to the Tolgeiras the Cowled wizard? Or do the quest on my own? I am a lv 11 Kensai, and I plan to became a Kensai/Mage. Can I have Nalia's Keep AND the Sphere?
