Help Buck buy Neverland! (spam on subject)

Post by fable »

First, some of the usual if inevitable background:

MSNBC: LOS ANGELES - Michael Jackson’s famed Neverland Valley Ranch in California will be foreclosed and sold on March 19 unless the pop star pays a balance of nearly $25 million, property records showed on Tuesday... “You are in default of a deed of trust ...,” Jackson was told in the five-page filing, according to a copy of the document published by FoxNews.com. “Unless you take action to protect your property it may be sold at a public sale.”

According to the documents, if Jackson fails to pay the outstanding balance, estimated at $24.5 million, Neverland would be sold to the highest bidder at a public auction on the courthouse steps. The county recorder’s Web site shows that a Notice of Trustees Sale was filed against Neverland Valley Ranch on Monday but no further details were available and a spokeswoman for the office declined to comment.

Making Neverland the repository for Buck and GameBanshee should be an obvious goal, by now, to anyone reading this page. After all, GameBanshee has done so much to aid world peace, curb rampant stupidity, and most important of all, dumb down the most sociopathic, brilliant minds of several generations through addiction to computerized games. One Glove's loss will be the universe's game. We must start organizing to get those funds now, though, to prevent anybody else from coming up with the funds necessary to outbid us.

Well? Are you with me? Who will be the first to contribute?
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Isn't this the place that has the theme park full of "oddities" or something like that?
In which case.. I think acquiring it as a sort of GB playground seems like a brilliant plan! :D

Hey, now that "Horror" ride where you go slowly through the room where strange nostril-disfigured ghosts pop up and go "boo" won't be as strange for everybody anymore.

And Buck make it as a horror show, selling tickets to those crazy enough to see us. :speech:

And no money for the park? What about repairs and maintenance? Salaries and other costs to keep the park afloat? I'm sure you need to take that into consideration when running a theme park, right? :p

Gwally has questionable activities in mind. He no doubt has plans to breed them and use them for some nefarious scheme. While these are rumors, I am very sure that his plans involve some sort of monkey training using negative reinforcment. My sources mentioned spanking was involved several times. And he seemed like such a nice druid too. :(

You're ignorant, that's ignorant.

Don't you think we'd need more space than Neverland can offer? Frolicing SYMian women being so in need of open spaces and all that.

per MSN music news....

Jackson Lawyer: Neverland Ranch Saved
March 13, 2008, 11:17 AM EST

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Michael Jackson has refinanced Neverland ranch in time to save his famed California spread from a public auction that was scheduled for later this month.

Jackson attorney L. Londell McMillan told The Associated Press on Thursday that the pop star has worked out a "confidential" agreement with Fortress Investment Group, LLC. The deal allows him to retain ownership of the famed property in Los Olivos, Calif.

"Neverland and MJ are fine," McMillan said.

An auction date had been set for March 19 because of $24.5 million the singer owed on the 2,500-acre spread northwest of Santa Barbara.

A source close to the singer who requested anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter said it's not clear whether Jackson will keep Neverland. Jackson has not lived there since his acquittal on child molestation charges in 2005.

And what good would that do? We'll either end up dead or in jail if we do that. :p
