I'm starting up another Multiplayer game, this time with Lawful Neutral characters. The only problem I can see with this is that I want a Priest of Lathander. I don't want a generic priest because there doesn't seem to be any penalty for picking the specialists, and the Priest of Helm class seems a little bleh to me (won't the "Seeking Sword" become obsolete after awhile?)
What do you guys think? Go against the Lawful Neutral trend to make the priest however I want, go with Helm so I can make him Lawful Neutral, or just make another party of goods?
In any event, what effect would one character with a somewhat different (lawful good) alignment have on what is otherwise a party full of lawful neutrals? And are there any consequences for have a special priest, rather than a generic one?

Question about alignment in Multiplayer...
As I know, there is no penalties what-so-ever with alignment mismatch in mutliplayer parties between self made characters. Only named NPCs like Minsc get annoyed if your Reputation diverges too far for his liking.
The alignment system is not a straight jacket in that Lawful and Chaotic characters must disagree and Good and Evil characters must clash; although their belief and actions will disagree almost all the time. Almost.
If you're thinking on the role playing level, a small difference in alignment like Good and Neutral simply means that the Good character must bear with some of the "less than Good" actions of the party in general, but that does not mean the Good character needs to be any less Good that s/he would otherwise be. Good parties have been known to bear with Paladin's stick-in-the-.... attitudes for as far as the class has been in existence.
Depending on the character, there might be more reason for a Good character to travel with a group of Neutrals, or in extreme cases, an Evil party - the reason: to try and realign them to the path of Good. It really depends on the character...
Unless you want to make "All Lawful Neutral Aligned Characters" as a meta-game "requirement" for this play through, I see little other reason not to diverge a little if you prefer to play the specialist class.
