Bug importing Deep Gnome Monk (AC loss)

Post by wotan06 »

Hello,
I created a deep gnome monk, these guys have +4 generic AC racial from deep gnome, and +1 generic AC for every 5 levels of monk, (plus dex, wis, etc)
When I exported my char and imported it, he lost the AC bonus given from the monk levels, his generic bonus was always 4, I made tests with him below level 25 (where he gets less than 4) and above (where he should get +5/6) and he always was created with 4.
I made tests with other races and the AC bonus from monk levels was correct, so it seems the problem is with the +4 of the deep gnomes......

Anyone has seen this or can think about a solution or a way to go around it?
Thanks.

I'd look for a character / savegame editor, and try to patch him up.

Try here:

Sorcerer's Place - Icewind Dale 2 Editors, Hacks, Trainers & Fixes

and

Sorcerer's Place - Infinity Engine Modding

Thanks Thrasher91604, that might be a way.

Just to know, this has happened to any of you? Can someone give it a short try/test? For I had another problem (check my new thread) and I'm wondering if it is my installation/version of the game..........
