Does anyone on these boards play online games?

Ultima Online
Anarchy Online
Everquest (crappiest of the lot)

Or are we a bunch of OAPs still playing offline RPGs??????

I prefer the offline type actually. No lag to put up with, no servers kicking you off. It's nice just to wander about on your own pc, in your own game, and just relax and kick some ass without some 12 or 13 year old start insulting you with obscene language and kill your main character before you even get a chance to sit and stare at the sun.

But that's a personal opinion. :)

Any body passing through solid matter will leave a perforation conforming to its perimeter. Also called the silhouette of passage, this phenomenon is the speciality of victims of directed-pressure explosions and of reckless cowards who are so eager to escape that they exit directly through the wall of a house, leaving a cookie-cutout-perfect hole. The threat of skunks or matrimony often catalyzes this reaction.

I agree with Veh, plus my home connection is appaling, i think i would struggle with email PnP :D :D

I can understand the reasons for playing MMORPG's i just don't have the possibility to do them :(

There is of course a problem for women/men with sexual harrassment etc.

Well, due to recent events, everything longer than a couple of weeks ago seems years away ;)

I played UO on Atlantic, a true pvp gangster with GM Magery, GM Fencing, and GM Tactics, back in the day when the game was a good killing ground. Now with Felucia & Trammel it's completely gay. I quit well over a year ago. UO began a cool trend, but I hope future online games like Neverwinter Nights are much better.
I see the right, and I approve it too; condemn the wrong and yet the wrong pursue.

I used to play GemStone and DragonRealms a lot, but that was ages ago. :)

Anarchy Online is beautiful... its a technical masterpiece.

little few pointers..

1. Ordering from Europe warehouses costs £50 when converting from Euros.

2. memory leaks, you need at least 300Mb of RAM. The game has some glitch where the Memory is filled up to around about 300megs.

3. At least a nVidia TNT2 processor or around about that.GeForce 2 and Hercules 3s should cut it.. better yet the beautiful ELSA Gladiac 920.. hmmm sexay...

4, a sense of appreciation for: huge scale & free housing... welcome break from the over priced housingin UO :) .

(blink) This is supposed to make me feel good about buying my latest PC, with a whopping 256 MB RAM?

I am playing EQ at the momment, and I must say it sucks. Verant is the worst company in the world. Almost every class has been nerfed beyond belief and the customer service leaves a little something to be deisred. Not to mention the fact that most people are jerks. Ah, well hopefull DAoC will be better.

Oh, Fable if you are running WIN 98 or 95 dont bother putting in more than 256 MB of RAM because it doesn't improve your systems performance at all.
