i can see how this forum got a bit slow... im running a game on a different site, and i can run a paralel game here, since it wont require me to do much extra work
setting: homebrew, freestyle
sources: PHB, DMG, MM, complete series, BoVD, SBGB, A&EG. other sources have to be submitted for acceptance
starting level: 6
max LA: +2
abilities: point buy 36
story: you are a group of adventurers and collectively got the reward of a baronetchy.. some land which pays you a tax and that you are supposed to keep secure. the catch? its right on the edge of the empire and the wild, populated by army retirees who do not like anyone giving them orders anymore and you dont have a garrison. thats the beginning of your troubles
get allies, prosper, expand your mansion into a castle, then a stronghold. settle more of the wild or grab land from neighbours
the game focuses heavily on role playing, though some fighting is inevitable. see it as a book. talking is more fun when writing than a battle is. battles are for special effects, which dont work well on paper.
posting rate: you need to be able to at least post 3 times a week. if you fail to do so without advance notice, you will be killed. Even with advance notice, if it happens too often, you'll be killed. notice that this doesnt count if there is no need to post (such as the dm sitting back while the PCs discuss) that will not count against the 3 days a week requirement. dont think you are irreplaceable. the game is designed for 1 to 10 people
people killed by low-post cannot be resurrected unless they pm me, with a gooood reason. after 3 times, the character permanently dies
you can join by submitting a character sheet to me and posting your race and class in this thread (do both!)
game starts when i feel like it and there is at least one applicant.
