Where can I have my drink?

Post by Minerva »

Well, I haven't been around recently, and just came to say hello to good people of SYM. Then, I couldn't find any pub or tavern open.

What's going on?
Is the credit crisis hitting the SYM as well??

Anyway, I cannot be around too long. Hope people are doing fine.

Minerva

PS. To my old friends
I have changed my email address registered here.
I sincerely apologise if someone sent emails to my very old email address in past few years  and did not get reply.

What? You mean you haven't been around a while?

Oh and yes - the recession is terrible. Not enough cash to go around after fuel has been paid.

Just realised I had a spelling miss... probably lots more of them, but I don't care.

Hello, Xandax. :)
No, I haven't around much. :D
I haven't played much games either... I have bought Civ4 a few months ago, played once. No RPG. I need a new computer, but I haven't got money.
Oh, well. At least, my life is not as bad as people in Burma or Somalia.

Hey, Minerva. Good to see you. :) I'm still ranting about Bush, only nowadays I'm not in a minority of one or two. Not playing much in the way of RPGs either, though Age of Decadence, an indie title due out in several months, looks very promising. Civ4 is fun: good choice. Sorry to hear about your money situation, though. Seems to be affecting people everywhere, at least, if you're a politician or a friend of one.

Hello Minerva! Good to see you, long time indeed! How are you doing? Are you living in the same place as before? Working in the same field? Happy with life (except for the not new computer, of course)?

I tried to play NVN2: Mask of the betrayer, but I quit after half an hour. I don't like RPG:s anymore. I don't like computer games anymore.

Would you believe it, I am very soon going to move to the US. Alas. On a happier note, I've got a research grant to visit my colleagues in Japan later this year :)

Btw, I recently watched Ozu's "Tokyo monogatari". It's one of the best films I've ever seen. What a masterpiece. @Fable, if you haven't seen it, you must.
