Hello. Just looking for a bit of help in Shadows of Amn.
How do I get cromwell to make me weapons? Whenever I go to his house, only his wife seems to be home.
Also, I think I sold the pommel jewel of the equalizer and the girdle of frost giant strength. Does anyone know how I can locate these? I have no idea where I sold them to.
One other thing. I got that crazy sword when I killed Firkraag but I don't have a Paladin. Should I sell it?/
Thanks for any help.

Hey, for the first Questions i got no answers
Everytime i got to Cromwell, he was there ..
And i dont know how to locate Items you sold, but for the "crazy" Sword, you should try to get Anomen in your group. He´s a powerfull NPC with a nice story and the sword is one of the best you can find. In ToB i think you can improve it to an Avenger + 6. But dont count on it
Hope i can help you

1: I suggest you're at the wrong place, cromwell is located in the docks district and should always be standing at his forge.
2: Unless you remember where you sold your items there's no easy way of getting them back. I suggest walking to all the vendors you usually visit, Ribald, the Copper Coronet and Trademeet are likely visits.
3: You don't need the sword unless you want a Paladin, you can sell it and I think it's only worth a little bit of gold. It all boils down to how much you like your party.

Spoiler
, it has yet to return
It's Keldorn that can use The Holy Avenger, (Carsomyr) no Anomen BTW. Because of a glitch in the game if you have a thief he/she will also be able to use it eventually though.

First of all, the Pommel Jewel of the Equalizer and the Girdle of Frost Giant Strength are *not* for sale. There are plenty of ways to earn some extra gold, the most obvious being the resteal/resell exploit you can work with any item on a thief merchant. Keep all the unique items in your Bag of Holding or in containers inside Watcher's Keep, most of them will come in handy.
The Pommel Jewel and the Girdle should be available for purchase at the place you sold them. Of course, if you sold those in Ust-Natha, sorry - they are unreachable. All the other merchants should be checked in order to get those items back, if you don't remember whom did you sell them to. Or, if you don't mind cheating, use the ShadowKeeper to CLUA them in.
Cromwell is always home. My guess is that you didn't visit his home yet by mistake. Try again.
Carsomyr is a good weapon, usable only by Paladins. Meaning, your either need Keldorn to wield it(location - Temple District Sewers, later Temple District Hall of the Most Noble Order of the Radiant Heart), or use a special NPC mod which adds other Paladin NPCs (Saerilieth), or make your PC a Paladin. Other options - install TOB, because one of the thief/bard HLAs is Use Any Item, after that Carsomyr becomes a favourite weapon of choice to Haer'dalis, the tiefling Blade.
So - do not sell Carsomyr if you intend to continue in TOB with your party and there is Jan, Haer'dalis or a PC Bard, Thief or Paladin in your party.
There are plenty of useful weapons, but then again - almost always to soloers only, because of various permanent immunities some weapons grant. In a party, your choice will almost always be limited to only the most powerful weapons(most found in TOB). But do try to assemble Crom Faeyr and the Equalizer from the Cromwell forge, they are qute useful.

You also need to be careful not to sell items that you might need in future upstairs in Gaelan Bayle's home. That is, if you side with the vampires. They will turn hostile and you will have lost them for good. If there is a possibility of needing an item in the future ,I like so many others, store them all in a favourite chest. Then you know where to find them.
