New ReleasesSo what do you think the announcement is? Maybe they've teamed up with EA to add The Bard's Tale and Ultima series?
This week we have another fantastic pair of games to ease the winter blues (okay, so maybe it's just horribly cold where I am).
Spellforce Platinum - $9.99
Spellforce Platinum consists of the main game and both expansions - The Breath of Winter and Shadow of the Phoenix. The game is set in a fantasy world ruined by a failed magical ritual. Your task is to create your hero - an avatar who will lead your armies - and embark on a journey to save the world. The game is a mixture of RPG and RTS, but sometimes you will be allowed a break from commanding your troops and enjoy a bit of relaxing hack-n-slash action. All this packed into beautiful visuals for your gaming pleasure.

Capitalism 2 - $9.99
Capitalism 2 offers quite a few improvements over its predecessor. The first thing you'll notice is the updated 3D-like graphics. Although playing a business game may seem daunting, Capitalism 2's steady learning curve and intuitive user interface make this task feel like more fun than REAL business management. You warm up and learn the ropes in the Entrepreneur Campaign, then spread your wings and test your mettle in the Capitalist Campaign, with specific scenarios to exploit and goals to attain. And last but not least, you can show your friends who's boss in the game's multiplayer mode.

Freespace 2 Retrospective
We also have a new retrospective article up on the site. This time around, the legendary Ed Zitron takes a look back at Interplay and Volition's Freespace 2, easily one of the best space sims of all time. It's a great read, so check it out! http://www.gog.com/en/editorial/editorial_freespace_2/
