This passageway is one of five that lead to and from the fourth floor of the castle's dungeon.


2 - Flawed Emerald

This chest contains one of the five gems you seek - the Flawed Emerald. You'll have to deal with four Sword Spiders, four Wraith Spiders, and four Bombardier Beetles along this hallway before you can loot it, though.

4 - Altar of Night

This altar is guarded by several Dire Bears and a couple of Stone Nuisances. Once you have placed the Flawed Moonbar Gem into the Chest of Seasons at area #12, a Flawless Moonstone Gem will appear on this Altar of Night.


5 - Flawed Moonbar Gem

This chest contains one of the five gems you seek - the Flawed Moonbar Gem.


6 - Exit

This passageway is one of five that lead to and from the fourth floor of the castle's dungeon.


7 - Flawed Skydrop Gem

This chest contains one of the five gems you seek - the Flawed Skydrop Gem.


8 - Exit

This passageway is one of five that lead to and from the fourth floor of the castle's dungeon. It is guarded by several Harpies, Fiendish Harpies, and spellcasting Infernal Harpies.


9 - Flawed Pearl

This chest contains one of the five gems you seek - the Flawed Pearl.


10 - Altar of Sea

As usual, this altar is flanked by two Stone Nuisances. Once you have placed the Flawed Pearl into the Chest of Seasons at area #12, a Flawless Waterstar Gem will appear on this Altar of Sea.


11 - Running Minotaur

A single Minotaur will hastily run from your party toward the north while shouting "No kill me!". Following him obviously leads to an ambush at area #13.


12 - Chest of Seasons

The Chest of Seasons is used to transform the various flawed gems found throughout this dungeon into flawless ones. As you place each flawed gem into its depths, a flawless version will appear on the appropriate altar.


13 - Altar of Heaven

The altar in this chamber is guarded by two Stone Nuisances, a handful of Minotaurs, several Minotaur Elders, and a Minotaur Lord. When you're finally victorious, search the lord's remains to find a Ring of Free Action, a Cloak of Displacement, and the Axe of the Minotaur Lord.

Once you have placed the Flawed Emerald into the Chest of Seasons at area #12, a Flawless Star Sapphire will appear on this Altar of Heaven.


14 - Exit

This passageway is one of five that lead to and from the fourth floor of the castle's dungeon. It is guarded by three Greater Jackals, two Jackal Shaman, two Stone Nuisances, ten Jackals, and a Jackal Pack Leader. In other words, make sure your party is ready for a serious fight when they first enter through this passageway!


15 - Flawed Fire Agate

This chest contains one of the five gems you seek - the Flawed Fire Agate Gem.


16 - Altar of Day

Once you have placed the Flawed Skydrop Gem into the Chest of Seasons at area #12, a Flawless Sunstone Gem will appear on this Altar of Day.


17 - Altar of Earth

A couple more Stone Nuisances await you at this altar. Once you have placed the Flawed Fire Agate Gem into the Chest of Seasons at area #12, a Flawless Diamond will appear on this Altar of Earth.
