Seven Sorrows is primarily divided into two game types: a campaign mode, in which one or two players advance through the game's story and have their characters picked for them for each chapter; and an advanced mode, played either online or on a single console, in which up to four players choose a class and fight through the game's six large regions against more numerous foes.
