So why not just eliminate the many controversial possibilities? Why not make life easy? The reason is simple in Mr. Molyneux's mind:

After seeing the game being demonstrated by Peter Molyneux and playing Fable for a while myself, it's clear to me that the game is filled to the brim with typical black, English humour. There's a point in the game where you, as a 12-year old kid, surprise a couple kissing behind a barn. The man is married and offers you money so you won't squeal to his wife. You can take the money, go to his wife and take money from her in exchange for the information!
