World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Previews

Three more previews of Blizzard's newly revealed World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King expansion pack have surfaced on the web. The first is at GameSpy:
The changes to PvP encompass more than just a new battleground. There will be a new season for arena players, new arena rewards, and a new arena map to compete in. In addition, Blizzard is going to introduce an outdoor, non-instanced PvP zone called Lake Wintergrasp. The lake is very near the center of Northrend, and will essentially be a free-for-all PvP zone so that players on any realm type, PvE, RP, or PvP will find a place to engage enemies in battle out in the open. There will be outdoor world objectives in Lake Wintergrasp as well, and objectives that will affect the surrounding world, much like the faction-wide buffs you can earn in Silithus and the Plaguelands.

The second is at IGN:
To compliment all of these new bits of gear and new zones comes the new inscription profession. This profession is sounding like it will bring a new depth to the already deep game, as it will allow you to alter spells to have extra abilities, similar to what jewelcrafting did with weapons. This will allow players to potentially augment their skills and spells along the lines of having a fireball with a knockback and stun ability, which could assist in the their characters becoming that much more unique.

And the third is at Games Radar:
For the first time in its history, World of Warcraft will introduce a hero class: the Death Knight. The Death Knight will be available through a quest line players can unlock once they reach level 80. At the end of the quest line, a new character is available to play. The Death Knight is a plate wearing, two-hand sword or duel-wielding madman who can both tank and DPS. The Death Knight will enter the game at a high level - the exact level is yet to be determined, but 55, 60 and 65 were all mentioned - and your original toon will still be the class and level they were. It should be noted that the Death Knight will not replace the original character.
