In their third newsletter for Wave of Darkness, Dreamatrix has announced that a v1.20 patch for the RPG is now available, which introduces a number of fixes and five new quests to the game. Further information and notes can be found on the official website, but I'll quote from the newsletter as it summarizes the high points:
With our third update for Wave of Darkness, our intention was to show you just how committed we are towards the production of our RPG title. Wave of Darkness isn't "just a project" for us. It's our dream project. It's a title we have always wanted to make. Granted, there is still a lot of work ahead of us, but we are on the right way, and we believe that Wave of Darkness is shaping-up into a great RPG game every lover of the genre will enjoy.
The latest title update brings a lot of great stuff, and when we mean a lot, we really do mean - a lot.
First of all, we have fixed several nasty bugs that bothered our players who reported those issues on Wave of Darkness discussion board. Namely, those issues are connected with "standing creature corpses" which rendered on the save game load, and basically all the creatures the player already killed, were standing again. Thankfully, Wave of Darkness wasn't haunted; it was only a visual bug, an issue with the animations.
We have also fixed an issue with the "Tormentor" spider, which was a testing spider used during quest scripting. We have deleted all of them except this one. Instead of Tormentor, there should be Venomous Spider at this location.
Finally, we have also fixed the door animation bug on the specific location in the game (945,751) which was also only a visual bug. The door worked correctly, but were rendered incorrectly.
But, the best thing about the new Wave of Darkness update are the new quests!
In Dreamatrix, we are committed to bring you the game you deserve. That is why we are doing the best we can to show you our gratitude for purchasing the game, playing it, and giving us the feedback on the discussion boards.
Five new quests, Forest Bane, Carcass in the Woods, Wild Hunt, Smash and Run, and Dark Sisters can be completed whenever and however you wish. The new quests add several hours of new gameplay, and if you by any chance get stuck somewhere, don't hesitate to visit our discussion boards. Other users and guys from Dreamatrix will be happy to help!
