Blizzard's "Tseric" stopped by the official World of Warcraft forums to announce that the game's The Burning Crusade expansion pack has officially gone gold and will ship on January 16th.

The expansion has already gone gold. We see no reason why the game isn't going to be on the shelves at the planned date.
