Though players can go at it alone, solo questing isn't what Dungeons & Dragons is all about, and neither is Dungeons & Dragons Online. Parties can be composed of up to six people (though this hasn't been cast in stone yet), and the game will be based on rules version 3.5 (d20). Players who want to get a head start in Xen'drik can head to their local game or comic shop and pick up one of the many D&D Guides [the Monster Manual is a well-thumbed favorite around UGO - Ed.] Xen'drik will feature the usual locales that RPG fans know and love: dungeons, crypts, tombs, enchanted forests, battles at sea, ancient warehouses, and the like. Player death will result in a penalty, though it won't be permanent. Player vs. player battle will be implemented, but not at release.
