Global Publisher Announces Several New Projects Across Multiple Platforms
STOCKHOLM January 25, 2011- Paradox Interactive has wrapped up its 2011 Convention in New York City. With more than a dozen developments teams on hand along with select partners and members of the press from all over the world, the annual event was a massive success. The growing publisher made a variety of announcements, including several new games currently in development:
'¢ Defenders of Ardania A new tower defense game set in the world of Majesty. The game will be available on PC and iPad and is being designed with the intent of launching on consoles as well.
'¢ Pirates of Black Cove- RTS with action-RPG elements. Cruise the Caribbean, loot settlements and see if you can become the best pirate on the high seas.
'¢ Naval War Arctic Circle A naval-based strategy title set in the modern day. There will be two single player campaigns (NATO and Russia) with real world units and weapons, a realistic weather system and multiplayer support for both online and LAN battles.
'¢ Mount & Blade: With Fire and Sword New Mount & Blade installment set in 1653. It will include enhanced siege mechanics, muskets, matchlock pistols and a new multiplayer mode.
'¢ Hearts of Iron III: For the Motherland: New expansion will include a deeper political system, coups and much more.
'¢ Paradox Connect - Paradox reveals new details about its big online initiative and announces several new online titles.
In addition to the new titles, Paradox showcased previously unreleased details of upcoming games including King Arthur II, Sword of the Stars II, Crusader Kings II, Pride of Nations, Magna Mundi, Cities in Motion, Supreme Ruler Cold War and soon to be released Magicka.

The Paradox Convention is held annually in January and offers press and partners the opportunity to preview the publisher's upcoming projects. The next major event on Paradox's agenda is GDC 2011 in San Francisco.
