The first is at RPGamer:
We were also able to freely switch between our 3 party members: a blond mage, a grizzled old veteran, and the young main character. In the final game, you'll have a total of 6 characters to choose from when building your party of 3. It was interesting to see how each different party member had their action palettes set up. After killing several minor creatures, we quickly maxed out our Action Chip gauge. These Action Chips build up during combat and can be spent on special skills, combos, or particularly devastating magic attacks. Because our gauge was maxed out at 16, I decided to try summoning the White Knight. The White Knight was very impressive as he towered over the other party members. We were also able to target different enemy body parts, which came in handy when we temporarily brought a giant golem down to his knees, allowing us to land some critical hits before he stood back up.
The second is at Joystiq:
Smaller features that are going to be added to the western release of the game include an autorun feature and improvements to the targeting system. The extra online missions that have been released since the Japanese launch -- roughly two a month -- will also be on the disc. Level-5 is also adding a system that was key to their Dark Cloud series, Georama, which will allow you to create your own town during the online portion of the game. Exactly how it'll work or how it will affect gameplay is unclear.
And the third is at GayGamer:
While playing through some traditional battles that played out in real time but forced you to wait for the opportunity to attack again, I eventually encountered a giant creature. As I wondered how in the world I was supposed to face off against this behemoth, I was instructed to simply activate my special ability to turn into the White Knight. Once enough action points have been accrued through regular battles, Leonard has the ability to turn into the White Knight, who is large enough to take care of the enormous foes. And if you've still got time leftover, the remaining regular-sized enemies are a cinch!
