First up is Gamer Limit, where they've given the add-on an 8/10:
If you enjoyed all that Fallout 3 has to offer you, then you will not be disappointed with The Pitt. Don't let the negative stigma regarding the launch bother you. It is a quality content package that is well worth the 800 Microsoft Points.
Then Game Over with a score of 80%:
Whether The Pitt is worth your money sort of depends on how much of a Fallout 3 fan you are. All said, the new quest line will probably only take you a few hours to go through once, a few more for checking out alternate solutions, and that's about it. If you're just a casual fan who put the game down long ago it probably isn't worthy of a $10 donation. On the other hand, if you were looking for an excuse to revisit the end of the world, The Pitt is a worthy edition to the Fallout landscape and well worth checking out. The swag you can take back to the rest of your wasteland wanderings ain't half bad either, with beastly new toys for almost every weapon category and quite a few new fashions as well for the post-apocalyptic badass on the go. Not the most mind-blowing DLC of all time, but pretty fair on the get-what-you-pay-for scale.
Followed by GameDaily with no score:
For only 800 points, The Pitt provides a good 3-5 hours of extra playtime, a new weapon and several new achievements. Although it's something that Fallout 3 fans should experience, there's little to attract casual gamers.
