It is currently rumoured that Witcher 2 has a whopping 16 endings. How free are players to carve their own path through the main quest? The idea was, let's give players the choice to tell the story from their own perspective. Be it to watch things from different place in the world or just see it through the eyes of different NPCs, it was about seeing the story and the world in your own way... And then, after finishing the game for the first time, you take it on again and we, CD Projekt RED, try hard to surprise you.
Even though you might think you're about to relive the same story again, when you meet different characters in different places and see the story from another perspective you kind of get the feeling that you begin to fully understand it. Iorveth and Vernon Roche? Geralt and Kingslayer? Triss and other sorceresses? You don't realize how much there is to show the perspectives.

Can you give us an insight into where Witcher 2 will take Geralt this time? What can we expect from the plot?
Like every good journey, this one is both emotional and geographical. The plot will force players to pick sides, paths and allies. I think not many games have ever actually gone so far with changing the world with the storyline. Did you know that we have around a dozen of variations for our political map of the world at the end of the game? All depending on player choices...
