The first is at GameZone with a score of 8.5/10:
Even though the game has some technical issues, Point Lookout still provides some great new environments to explore. You will want to be pretty experienced before taking the plunge, however, as this journey isn't for newcomers.
The second is at WorthPlaying with a score of 9.2/10:
With its copious amounts of content and impressive new locale, Fallout 3: Point Lookout provides a definitive reason to head back into the Fallout universe yet again. It's clear a lot of loving attention went into this release, and the end result is nothing short of amazing. Just remember to head into the new area with all of your weapons and armor repaired and ready to rock, and keep a voluminous amount of healing items at your side because this one's going to be a challenge. One last tip: If you should hear banjos while you're out wandering the swamps, then you should probably run.
The third is at Telegraph.co.uk with no score:
Essentially, Point Lookout feels more like an organic extension of Fallout 3 rather than a collection of missions bolted onto a new environment. A couple of technical glitches aside, this DLC is sure delight players who want to test their mettle in a great new locale. Just remember to make sure you're wearing your toughest armour and carrying your most potent weapons before venturing into the backwoods...
The fourth is at Brutal Gamer with a score of 8/10:
I'm more than happy to say that Point Lookout is* the best piece of downloadable content to date, as it does what Fallout 3 does best; exploration. When a piece of content brings in an environment one-fifth of the size of Capital Wasteland for 800 Microsoft points you know it's a time to celebrate. Point Lookout may only bring a few new pieces of armour and weapons for you to play round with, but the amount of fun you'll have exploring the weird and wonderful areas of Point Lookout you'll be a fool not to buy this if you're a Fallout fan.
And the fifth is at GameTrailers with a score of 8.7/10.
