The melee combat plays much like a standard hack-and-slash game, and requires you to briefly line up with your target (the game has an actual reticule to help you target), then unleash whichever attacks you like, occasionally setting up for a dramatic kill which you can trigger by pressing the "A" button on the Xbox 360 controller (or "X" button on the PS3 controller) to start an especially gruesome cinematic sequence that shows your character dismembering his foe.GameZone.
In addition to the single-player adventure, Two Worlds II will have numerous multiplayer modes for up to eight players at once, including head-to-head free-for-all deathmatch, team deathmatch, cooperative questing (which will offer about nine different missions on nine different, completely new maps), and an economy-based "village" mode that lets you and your buddies create your own villages to produce tradable goods.
Upon the start of the game, the main character is freed from a dungeon by orcs, who were the enemies in the first game. Escaping with the help from mysterious friends who believe the main character is the answer to their prophecies, Two Worlds II uses the common ploy of amnesia to allow players to explore the story of the title.Just Push Start.
Similar to the first game, players can still do shortcuts of attacks and items to use via hot key. The main HUD appears at the bottom. The middle ones shows the things that are hot keyed and the experience bar. To the right is the Health, Stamina, and Mana container. It's no longer a bar, but a circle container. The character progression islinear as you earn Skill Points, you are limited to choices as to what skills the player wants. In Two Worlds, there are three classes that the protagonist can change into. The ones I've played are Mage and Warrior. If there is some point in the game where the character decides to switch from Mage into a Warrior due to the enemy advantage, a player can just press the Left button.
