Q: Community management is a lot about trust with the community. Do you think the changing faces at EA Mythic may make it more difficult to manage the community?
Missy: I think for sure that change brings uneasiness, and my major concern with these changes has been how they will affect the community. Believe me, I know how hard it is to say goodbye to people who you feel you've come to know. I have some big shoes to fill. It's important to remember though, that EA Mythic is a growing company, and with that change is inevitable. It can be scary, but it's not necessarily a bad thing. I am a firm believer that trust is something that needs to be earned, and I'm looking forward to creating the same bond with the WAR community that I have with Dark Age of Camelot's community.
James: Change is never easy and takes time, but anything is what you make of it. I'm confident Missy and I can deliver the quality and integrity players come to expect. EA Mythic collectively has a lot of experience working with community. I look forward to getting to know all of you and already recognize some familiar faces from the Vanguard community. (And of course discuss the finer points of pirates vs. ninjas, types of pie, etc.)
