Mulgrew seemed to have a pretty serious passion for Flemeth, though, speaking at length about her motivations. "She is this mysterious and powerful witch. She transcends time, she transcends place," said Mulgrew. "She's pivotal to the game. The hero can be hoist on his own petard, or he can listen to her. She peels herself like an onion. She reveals very slowly and with every revelation there's a clue that's very crucial to the hero's survival. So he has to learn to read her mysteriousness."
Mulgrew isn't a gamer, but she sees that as an asset when trying to play a role like this:
"I'm not a gamer at all, and I think that's why I'm a good voice for these games. You don't want to have that cross-over, I don't think. In order to become Flemeth I can't really have any kind of stake in this game at all, except the stake of her reality."
