Gas Powered Games has posted another Friday update on the official Dungeon Siege II website, which includes information on a new beast called the Qatall Runeshaper and a new power called Corrosive Eruption. What's a Qatall Runeshaper? Read on:

Qatall were the greatest of Zaramoth's servants, and now they mutely serve the one who wields his Sword. They are creatures of magic, created by animating the bodies of Valdis' fallen followers. They are not undead, and do not retain any knowledge from their lives, but they are keenly intelligent strategists and deadly foes.

Qatall Runeshapers are responsible for creating new Qatall, infusing them with magical strength and power, and binding them in service to the one who wields the Sword of Zaramoth.
