It's all pretty simple right? Well...no. There's more to it than clicking the attack key. Each weapon has skills associated with it such as Shotgun or 1-Hand Edged. Some may even require multiple weapon skills to use properly. The E-Blade for example uses both 2-Hand Edged and Melee Energy Weapons. So naturally you want to keep both skills as high as possible if you plan to use that weapon. Weapons may also have additional attack types available. Some assault rifles and other ranged weapons have bonus skills related to them like Burst Fire and Full Auto. These can be triggered at any time by the combatants but they take time to refresh.
