There are a lot of tweaks to the core game, none more important than the faster load times. The terribly long wait for content to load was by far the game's biggest drawback. As we saw the new version in action it was plainly obvious that the load times were significantly faster -- three times faster, according to the developer.
Thankfully there's a bit more to this update like 200 new motion-captured animations, random NPC generation, 5,000 new lines of dialogue and a lot of additional voice work. The Leo character, for example, has a new voice and is no longer the whiny Witcher who sounded more like a scared child than a professional monster hunter.
There's a new inventory system which allows you to not only auto loot monsters but also sort items in a much more streamlined way. Basically the idea is to keep you out of fumbling through your satchel and more into playing Geralt and killing monsters.
