GameInformer's Mike Futter penned a very short report on South Park: The Stick of Truth and its upcoming sequel, South Park: The Fractured But Whole. Ubisoft announced during its third quarter earnings call that South Park: The Stick of Truth shipped five million copies, while The Fractured but Whole is expected to release during fiscal year 2017, which would end on March 31st, 2017:

The next game in the series is due during fiscal year 2017. This places release no later than March 31, 2017, provided there is no delay.
A press release for the earnings call can be found at this link, although it only includes the information of The Fracture But Whole's expected release window and not the shipment numbers for The Stick of Truth.
South Park: The Fractured but Whole was announced at E3, but we haven't heard much about it since then. The title will see South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone at the helm yet again and will be developed by Ubisoft San Francisco, an internal Ubisoft studio that previously worked on the Rocksmith series.
Considering how torturous the development of The Stick of Truth was and how Parker and Stone are known to be perfectionists, I wouldn't be surprised to see the title delayed. I'd still expect (and hope for) a shorter development cycle, however, given Parker and Stone now have some experience with game development under their belt and Ubisoft is in a much more solid financial position than original South Park: The Stick of Truth publisher THQ.
