THGTR: I know there is plenty of time until release. But can you tell us approximately how long will it take an avarage player to finish The Witcher 2?
Tomasz Gop: I'd say that average player that finished The Witcher 1 will spend the same amount of time with The Witcher 2. On one hand, the sidequests are less about running-around this time, but on the other locations are bigger and with the new engine, they just look so nice that exploration is pure fun and should take quite a lot of time anyways.

THGTR: Ok, so how big is the game going to be? Especially open areas?
Tomasz Gop: My rough estimation is two-three times bigger than the previous one.

THGTR: We know that gameplay has changed as well. The most interesting change- and maybe the most important one for a RPG gamer- is dialogue system. It also looks like Alpha Protocol's active diologue system. Can you tell us how this system works?
Tomasz Gop: It's pretty much the base of any RPG game, that's why we definitely paid a lot of attention to detail here. I wouldn't, however, say that there has been a whole revolution in that field. I mean, yes we have added new look and new features, more interactions and QTE-based events every here and there. But generally, it still remains the main tool towards telling the story. Or maybe, on the other hand, with all these changes it really does look so much different. I get lost in this with time. :)
