NCSoft's official Lineage II website has been updated with news that the MMORPG has reached open beta and any players can sign up to play. A snip:

Players who participate in the epic struggles of the Open Beta phase will be able to continue using their characters beyond the commercial launch of Lineage II, which is scheduled for April 28.

So rest assured, your characters will NOT be deleted at the close of the Open Beta phase! Share the news with all your friends and tell them now is a great time to sign up to play Lineage II!
