The main character is a monster-slayer (think Buffy, kind of, but. different). A member of the (brotherhood) of Witchers, he is faced with a variety of decisions that influence the development of his character. Remember this world is not black and white, much as the real world, and there are often multiple paths available for solving quests. All achievements are rewarded with experience points, and, as in most RPGs are used to determine when a character advances to the next level. When a character reaches the next level, he can change his statistics, abilities and skills. These changes as well as changes in the withcher's appearance and inventory are reflected in gameplay.
