But thanks to a little effort, WoW does away with much of the boredom by simply removing some of the old RPG traditions - such as corpse runs. When you die, you'll reappear at your bind-point with all your gear intact, and the only running you'll need to do is to get back to where you were before. In addition, the game has no zones, or loading divisions between areas. The scenery streams constantly from the hard-drive and server, so the world appears as a seamless whole; you could run from one end of the vast place to the other, and never see a loading screen. The plan is, it should all add up to an experience where downtime is reduced significantly over other MMORPGs. If the net result works as planned, it'll be a welcome change.
