Lord of the Rings: The Third Age Preview

Third Age begins when a warrior named Berethor (tasked by Denethor to track down the whereabouts of Boromir) is attacked and defeated by Nazgul, only to be saved by an Elf named Idrial who uses the "rising river" trick that Arwyn employed to protect Frodo outside Rivendell. That single sentence alone should be enough to have Tolkien devotees frothing with excitement (or foaming with anger, if they're of the purist variety); on the other hand, the density of Middle Earth-style names on parade is probably a bit intimidating to casual fans. To say nothing of gamers completely unfamiliar with the books or films -- statistically speaking, there must be one or two holed up in a cave somewhere.
