Mythic Kicks Off Dark Age of Camelot Roundtable Road Trip
Nationwide Mini-Fan Gatherings to Bring Together Fans of the Online Game
FAIRFAX, VA - December 16, 2004 - Mythic Entertainment, developer and publisher of the massively-multiplayer online role-playing game, "Dark Age of Camelot," today announced the "Dark Age of Camelot" Roundtable Road Trip. The Roundtable Road Trip is a series of monthly fan gatherings throughout the US and Canada. Roundtable Road Trip events will be held in all corners of the U.S. from Seattle to Florida, and from California to New York. The Roundtable Road Trip kicks off January 22nd at the Web2Zone internet gaming center in New York City.
"The 'Dark Age of Camelot' Roundtable Road Trip is our way of bringing regular fan gatherings closer to players, thereby making it easier for them to attend," said Eugene Evans, vice president of Marketing and Business Development of Mythic Entertainment. "We will continue to hold two larger events each year with two days of activities but these smaller events will allow us to reach even more members of the 'Dark Age of Camelot' community, including those that can't travel, for the chance to meet other players and members of our development staff."
The events will take place at internet gaming centers and entertainment locations. Each event will include an evening of activities including the chance to win prizes from the Roundtable Roundtrip sponsors NVIDIA and Prima games. Players will also have a chance to learn about the latest "Dark Age of Camelot" developments and meet some of the Mythic staff first hand.
