The beauty of Heroes is that it's as much or as little as you want it to be. You can play it for a few minutes or a few hours, alone or with your friends, and it's always a good time. Players can join in or leave mid-campaign, so you don't have to try and assemble your whole crew any time you want to play. The controls are absolutely perfect, allowing the newest of newbies to be a hacking, slashing pro within minutes. A compass on the map points you toward your current objective point, so you're never left guessing what you should be doing or where you should be going. The difficulty ramps up gradually enough to keep the game challenging, but not overwhelming, and rare items and armor are found just frequently enough to make you want to keep searching. Dungeons & Dragons: Heroes may not blaze any new ground, but it's not really trying to. We've all been to the land of kill things/level up/collect nifty new stuff before, and we know its fun there. So get your friends, grab your axe and join the fight. You'll be glad you did.
