Spike TV has announced the nominees for their Video Game Awards 2005 event, with five of the games we cover on GameBanshee making the list. Of course, they all fall into the "Best RPG" category:

Jade Empire(TM) (Microsoft Game Studios)
X-Men Legends II: Rise of the Apocalypse (Activision, Inc.)
Dungeon SiegeÂ® II (Microsoft Game Studios)
Star WarsÂ® Knights of the Old RepublicÂ® II: The Sith Lords (LucasArts)
World of Warcraft (Blizzard Entertainment)

I think it's a little unfair to include World of Warcraft into this list when it's already listed in so many other categories, though. I mean, is WoW really an RPG in the same sense as the other four?
