Set in a world populated by fantastic creatures, King's Bounty: The Legend is an RPG with strategic turn-based battles. As a warrior, paladin, or mage, the hero moves about in real-time through the world and enters battle by touching one of the free-roaming enemies in the environment. From here the game switches to a turn-based mode with the hero acting as a tactical commander. Though the hero doesn't actually enter the skirmish, he controls a small unit of men and beasts in move-and-strike strategic style.
