Star Wars: KotOR II Reviews

LucasArts and Obsidian's Star Wars: KotOR II: The Sith Lords is the subject of four more reviews around the 'net. The first is over at eToyChest with an overall score of 83%:
Is Knights of the Old Republic II worth your time? If you enjoyed the original, of course it kept a lot of the things that made the original such a great game. Is it worth your money? I would definitely say it's a solid purchase considering the multiple endings and different paths you could go through the game. Is it better then the original? Unless a patch is made or it's fixed when it comes out on the PC, hell no. Now stop bothering me. I need to play again, this time as a Dark Jedi because I felt dirty playing a goody-goody Jedi.

The second is at WorthPlaying with an overall score of 9.3/10:
Despite its technical flaws, this game manages to impress. This game really has everything you could want, including one of the best if not the best stories of the year, and it'll certainly slake any gamer's thirst for adventure. It is one of the best values out there too with its lengthy campaign and high replayability. If you even remotely like RPGs, you should try to pick this up, and if you enjoyed the original, this is a no brainer.

The third is it Gamezilla with a "Recommended - Buy":
Essentially the expansion pack to Knights Of The Old Republic 1, the new story and a subtle touch to the gameplay make this game essentially a excellent title. Even recycled, this is quality gaming.

And the fourth is at Game Revolution with an overall score of "B+":
The Sith Lords brings back everything that was great about the first KOTOR while adding a couple of minor garnishes to the already full plate. The campaign retains the magic and moral flexibility of the original, and The Sith Lords' ability to branch the story based on your choices and your chosen compatriots gives it the same great replay value. On that note, the once-impressive engine is starting to waver and there really isn't a great deal of new material here despite a good year and a half since the original game stormed shelves. But don't let that stop you from spending time with The Sith Lords. It's like having an old friend drop in - you might already know all his jokes, but damn, it's nice to have him around again.
