Long load times, poor planetside performance, repetitive grinding gameplay... Galaxies is still in shaky condition, and thanks to the likes of Everquest II and World of Warcraft, the genre has advanced since its release. The combat might be fun in short bursts, and the shelves are hardly crowded with space games, but Jump to Lightspeed is far too repetitive, while Galaxies remains light years behind its competition.
