Star Wars: KotOR Reviews

While it takes a good amount of time to get through the game once, it never feels like it drags, and I was essentially left wanting more when it was over (thus I'm replaying as a Dark character for the walkthrough...). What I was left wanting more of is that good, old-fashioned Star Wars feel. Oh, and always wanting more Bastila. There are plenty of ways to resolve most quests and conflicts, and playing through leaning towards one side of the Force or the other really has a significant impact on the way the game unfolds. The voice acting is just so freaking stellar that it really adds to the cinematic feel, and this is perhaps the best indicator of film and game convergence to come: it feels at times like a really great Star Wars movie that you are in control of. If that's not a big pile of praise, well, then I don't know what is.
The second can be found at Music4Games.net with a perfect score of 10/10:
Knights of the Old Republic is a must have for RPG'ers, Star Wars fans, as well as the casual gamer. Don't be surprised if you find yourself playing this game for over 20 hours the first week and re-living this adventure over and over again. LucasArts, BioWare and composer Jeremy Soule we (the gaming world) thank you!
And the third can be found at GameGuru Mania with an overall score of 92%:
I really enjoyed finishing this game. This game is just awesome, definitely one of the best game released last year. The story is killer. I'm not hardcore Star Wars fan that has seen all the movies multiple times, but the story is probably better than both of the new movies. If you're looking for an RPG with good action and adventure elements, then pick this up as soon as possible. If you're a Star Wars fan then this is a must have.
