Braddock 9mm (
View Item)
Being a bit jumpy and low in the damage department keeps the Braddock 9mm off my list of top weapon choices. But hey, it's the first machine gun you find. You'll be able to obtain it first from Fat Larry in the Downtown district and then later from the other weapon merchants.
Brokk 17c (
View Item)
A step up from the Thirtyeight, perhaps, but still not much firepower. You'll be able to obtain it first from Fat Larry in the Downtown district and then later from the other weapon merchants.
Colt Anaconda (
View Item)
My favorite sidearm, with the capability to "fan" a crowd of baddies. You'll be able to obtain it first from Slater at the Red Spot convenience store in Hollywood and then later from the other weapon merchants.
Crossbow (
View Item)
Although the crossbow is capable of a fair amount of damage, it really isn't the best weapon available to you when you finally find it. If you'd really like to own one, though, you'll be able to grab it during the "Hot Stripper Assassin Action!", "Gone Fishin'", or "Ming Must Die!" quests. Pick this weapon up only if you're looking to have a variety of weapons at your disposal.
Flamethrower (
View Item)
The flamethrower is extremely deadly against vampires and other supernaturals. With two full cannisters of fuel, even "boss" enemies can be taken down with ease. You'll be able to obtain it from any of the weapon merchants once you complete the Giovanni Mansion late in the game.
Jaegerspas XV (
View Item)
A much more effective shotgun than the Utica M37. You'll be able to obtain it first from Mercurio in the Santa Monica district (after the Hollywood district has become available) and then later from the other weapon merchants.
'Jaime Sue' (
View Item)
The ultimate sniping rifle. The Jaime Sue inflicts massive damage when zoomed in, killing even some of the tougher foes in the game with one solid hit. First obtained from Romero in the Hollywood cemetary if you agree to take care of his zombie problem for five minutes and then later from the other weapon merchants.
Lassiter Killmatic (
View Item)
The Lassiter Killmatic machine gun does a lot more damage than the Braddock 9mm and is easier to control. This weapon is obtained first from Tseng's in the Chinatown district and then later from the other weapon merchants.
McLusky .50 Caliber (
View Item)
A trusty sidearm with great damage output. This weapon is obtained from any of the weapon merchants once you complete the Fu Syndicate building in the Chinatown district.
Steyr Aug (
View Item)
Although the Steyr Aug is equipped with a scope, I recommend sticking with the Jaime Sue for sniping. This weapon is obtained from any of the weapon merchants once you complete the Fu Syndicate building in the Chinatown district.
Thirtyeight (
View Item)
Your standard Saturday night special. The Thirtyeight pistol is obtained first from Jack during the initial tutorial of the game and then later from weapon merchants.
Utica M37 (
View Item)
The Utica M37 shotgun is excellent for close range combat. You'll be able to obtain it first from the thugs at the Santa Monica warehouse and then later from weapon merchants.
