Mac OS

In the last chat session with BioWare, it was stated that work was moving forward with the carbonization of NwN. For those non-Mac people out there, what this means is that NwN will be running on OS X (Apple's newest Mac OS version). However, nothing was said about a *non-carbon* version of NwN.
The fear I have is that users will have to be running OS X to use NwN. With the bugs that still exist in the system many Mac users may not be rushing to upgrade to the new OS. Will there be options for 9.1 and further 9.x releases that may occur? And if there are going to be seperate applications (carbon and non-carbon), will they be bundled together or will they be seperate applications (if for instance, I have two machines, one running 9.1 and the other running X, will the applications be seperate or will they use the same bundle - having them be bundled is supposedly the better way to go, according to Apple)?
What about running in classic mode?
What version of OS X is BW considering the version they will be supporting (ie their drop dead version... "we won't support any versions after *this* one")?
And finally, just because I am curious, has BW found it easier to build carbon NwN or non-carbon NwN?
- The game was working on the Mac until we found out about OS X. The Carbonizing effort hasn't been massive, but it has had a fair number of headaches. For the longest time we couldn't get mouse input. In short, the OS X port pushed the Mac port further behind, but through hard work our local expert has almost caught back up.
Good show Howard.
On the internationalization area, we are doing most of the multi-language support in NWN, so it should be one app, many languages.
