Dragon Age: Origins Advancement Table
In Dragon Age: Origins, characters are given three attribute points and a talent pick with each level gained. A skill pick is received every three levels for mages and warriors, and every two levels for rogues. Specialization picks are received at levels 7 and 14.

There is no level cap in Dragon Age: Origins, but characters won't typically advance past level 20 during the main campaign unless you've made a point of tracking down every available experience point. As you can see from the table above, the experience requirement simply increases by 500 points each time a new level is attained.
