With Microsoft's Mythica, Vivendi's Middle-Earth Online, Sony's EverQuest 2, and Atari's Horizons all vying for top spot, WoW had to seriously wow us, and it did. More complete than what we saw from Microsoft and Vivendi and more generally appealing than what came from Atari and Sony, World of Warcraft takes the beloved fiction to a new realm, one that MMO players far and wide should enjoy thoroughly.
