1 - SABOTEUR
When enter the ruins, you'll find that the rangers have already gone through and are fighting the orcs, who are using catapults against them. For some reason, all the catapults have wagonloads of gunpowder sitting right next to them. You'll be igniting a bunch of these through the next couple of areas, so practice on the one near the place where you started.
2 - SAVE POINT
You may want to get around the bend to the save point quickly, so that if you accidentaly get killed by a stray flaming rock, you'll respawn there instead of the entry point.
3 - INNER WALL
Eventually, you'll reach the inner walls. Where the gates should be, a low wall funnels you into the inner area, giving the catapults more of a chance to hit you.
4 - OETHEILAS
When you make it through the low wall maze, you'll run into Oetheilas, who is standing in the middle of a full-on catapult barrage for no good reason other than to tell you that you need to destroy all the catapults in the area. There are 6 on the left side, and four on the right. Destroy all ten, and you can get to the ranger camp that has immediately sprung up behind enemy lines.
5 - COMMANDER TURANIN
Commander Turanin, standing between a portal and a set of stairs leading underground, tells you that the orcs have stolen a scroll from a vampire and that you need to get it from the orc chief or the orcs will win the battle. When you bring it to him, he'll send you to kill an orc shaman. When you do that bit of dirty work, he tells you that you need to head into the Underdark, sorry Under
world. You'll head back down into the ruins to meet a guide that will take you there.
7 - TO FAYDARK RUINS
To go after the orc chief and the scroll, take the stairs down to enter the Faydark Ruins.
8 - GATE SWITCH
To get to the orc shaman, head to the inner compound of the orc camp. The entrance was previously blocked by two of the rangers. You'll have to flip a switch to open the gate to the inner compound, but thankfully it's right next to the gate this time.
9 - DAVROS BIGRAN
Not too far from the gate, the health bar of the orc shaman will pop up, alerting you to the presence of a boss in the area. You have to go around the back of the low wall to get to him, though. Either take him out quickly, or lead his minions away and kill them out of range of his resurrection spell. When you kill him, head back to the Commander.
