Strength
Each point of Strength increases your Melee Weapons skill by 2 points, your maximum carrying capacity by 10 pounds, and your melee damage by a half point.

Perception
Each point of Perception increases your Energy Weapons, Explosives, and Lockpick skills by 2 points, and allows you to detect enemies from farther away.

|
Endurance
Each point of Endurance increases your Survival and Unarmed skills by 2 points, your maximum Hit Points by 20, your Poison Resistance by 5%, and your Radiation Resistance by 2%.

Charisma
Each point of Charisma increases your Barter and Speech skills by 2 points, your companion's DT by 5, and your companion's damage by 5%.

Intelligence
Each point of Intelligence increases your Medicine, Repair, and Science skills by 2 points, and adds half a skill point each time you level (leftover half skill points aren't rounded; they're just carried over to the next level).

Agility
Each point of Agility increases your Guns and Sneak skills by 2 points, and the number of action points available in V.A.T.S. by 3 points. Agility also affects how quickly you walk, and how quickly you reload your weapons.

Luck
Each point of Luck increases your critical chance by 1%, and your rating in every skill by half a point (rounded up). Luck also affects how often you're able to beat casino games.
