bgteam has an item/spell editor/creator where in which you could create personilzed items and spells, it's actually quite easy and fun

just don't ask me how to add the dialog to go with your new item/spell, i've yet to quite figure that part out...

for elves they are usually physically mature(ignoring subraces for the time being) by about 100 years old(forgot the teen age for elves can't find complete handbook of elves atm)

now this is a rather large plothole in the storyline i concure

drow mature a decade or two earlier then most surface ...

i tried fiddling with that variable both with both shadowkeeper and in game using CLUAconsole both ways didn't work and indeed the variable appears frozen.

i have a theory or two on why that is, to long to list here, but anyway if anyone knows what triggers the dialog i would like to know as well ...

i'd choose a monk, psi, druid, or an interesting combo of the three...

monk well because other then the speed boost and such i'm practically am as good as one irl already...

psi because it's almost directly related to the mental side of kung fu/tai chi

druids... well i just love druids ...

stave would need to parry a little more, all in all it would still come down to skill of the warrior

dagger could still punch through, try putting as much force that you can put behind a dagger into a sword, also hard for swords to hit within the same range that you can get into with a dagger ...

all in all i would dare say that staves and daggers are two of the most underapprecated weapons in rpgs: staves in the hands of a skilled user are extremly quick and deadly... capable of very rapid and sound strikes... D&D 3rd ed does slightly better with the introduction of double weapons but still ...
